Knowhere’s activity checks run on a point system. The more active you are, the more points you can accumulate. These points function as an ooc currency, and can be redeemed for additional item regains, plot developments, and other incentives.

Each player is responsible for tracking their own activity points, using the following scale:

• MAKING A POST TO THE NETWORK OR LOGS COMMUNITY | +7 points
• RESPONDING TO ANOTHER CHARACTER FOR THE FIRST TIME | +5 points
• RESPONDING TO A CHARACTER YOU’VE TAGGED BEFORE/CANONMATE | +3 points
• REACHING 20 TAGS (10 FROM YOUR CHARACTER) IN ONE THREAD | +2 points
• REACHING AN ADDITIONAL 10 TAGS FROM YOUR CHARACTER IN ONE THREAD | +2 points
• RESPONDING TO ANOTHER CHARACTER'S IC CONTACT POST | +2 points

Points can stack on top of one another—for instance, if Mickey Mouse tags Goofy, he’ll add 3 points to his activity. When that thread reaches 20 tags, he’ll gain another 2 points. At the end of the month, that thread is 60 tags log—30 of them from Micky—so he’ll have gained 9 points of activity from it.

The thread was made in Goofy’s post, so he’ll gain 7 points for making it. He will not gain additional points per thread—tagging out is worth more points than only making your own posts.

Each character must make 14 points worth of activity per month. If you fail to make activity with a character one month, you can elect to make activity-and-a-half the following month. If Mickey failed activity in July, he could remain in the game by getting 21 activity points in August.

An activity check will run for the last week of every month. Every player will be required to link to threads that add up to at least 14 points, and may optionally claim their additional activity points at this time.

Activity can be met, at a minimum, by 2 open posts, 3 replies to new CR, or 5 replies to continued CR/castmates.

Players who hiatus for 2 weeks or more during the month will be exempt from activity checks for that month.

Because Knowhere is opening at the end of June, the first activity check will take place from July 24th to 31st. Players will have 5 weeks to achieve their first 14 points of activity in honor of the game’s grand opening.
